With its 6.4L displacement and dual-sequential turbochargers, this Power Stroke® V8 turbo diesel cranks out a maximum 350 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. For applications like snow plowing that need the low-end muscle, it can produce its peak torque at only 2,000 rpm. The 6.4L diesel benefits from dual-stage turbochargers - One to get things moving, another to keep things moving at higher speeds. Previous generation diesels use a single large turbo with a big, heavy impeller, which requires a lengthy spool up time. The smaller impellers are lighter and able to spool faster, which equals more power more quickly and thus better performance.

The Super Duty® uses Ford Clean Diesel Technology™ including a Diesel Particulate Filter to trap soot particles. It's also optimized to use the latest ultra-low sulfur fuel.
