BEST IN TOWING
The 2010 F-150 gives you best-in-class trailer-towing capability* - 11,300 lbs. - across all cabs with the added confidence and stability of standard Trailer Sway Control (TSC)** and an available factory-integrated Trailer Brake Controller (TBC)**. Furthermore, the selectable Tow/Haul Mode on the six-speed automatic transmission compensates for altitude, grade and load to aid performance, especially when driving up steep grades or down extreme slopes. You can choose the Trailer Towing Package or the new optional Max Trailer Tow Package - a special group of heavy-duty towing upgrades.
*Class is full-size pickups under 8,500 lbs. GVWR. When properly equipped.
**Remember, even advanced technology cannot overcome the laws of physics. It's always possible to lose control of a vehicle due to inappropriate driver input for the conditions.

TRAILER SWAY BAR
Standard on The 2010 F-150, Trailer Sway Control (TSC)* builds on the AdvanceTrac® system with segment-first** Roll Stability Control™ (RSC®)* to help maintain trailer control through selective wheel braking and reduced engine power. The result: noticeable stability and control, which provides greater driver confidence when towing the largest loads. *Remember, even advanced technology cannot overcome the laws of physics. It's always possible to lose control of a vehicle due to inappropriate driver input for the conditions.
**Class is full-size pickups under 8,500 lbs. GVWR.

INTEGRATED TRAILER BRAKE CONTROLLER
The 2010 F-150 now offers an available fully integrated Trailer Brake Controller (TBC).* TBC synchronizes vehicle and trailer brakes for seamless braking (even with the heaviest loads) to provide added driving control and confidence. Factory-installed TBC with standard Trailer Sway Control (TSC)* is a combination that's class-exclusive** to the 2010 F-150.

BEST IN PAYLOAD
The 2010 F-150 continues to deliver best-in-class* payload capability - 3,030 lbs. - while adding enhanced usability with two class-exclusive* features: available Tailgate Step and available Box Side Steps. Each of these features provides great functionality for the user. Greater capability plus enhanced usability: that's the 2010 F-150
*Class is full-size pickups under 8,500 lbs. GVWR. When properly equipped.

BOX SIDE STEPS
Available Box Side Steps are another industry first and class-exclusive* feature from Ford Trucks. Located on both sides of The 2010 F-150, just in front of the rear wheels, these convenient steps feature hands-free operation and a 500-lb. load capacity. To use the step, simply tap a button with your foot to extend the step, then use your foot again (away from the button) to push it back into its stowed position. (6.5-ft. or 8-ft. pickup box only.)
*Class is full-size pickups under 8,500 lbs. GVWR.

TAILGATE STEP
The 2010 F-150 features an available class-exclusive* integrated Tailgate Step with a 350-lb. load capacity. This ultraconvenient step stows inside the tailgate, can be easily accessed when needed and includes a handy flip-up grab bar. It's ideal for those who regularly climb in and out of their truck's cargo bed.
*Class is full-size pickups under 8,500 lbs. GVWR.

STOWABLE BED EXTENDER
The available, stowable Bed Extender* provides additional cargo space when in the outward position while the tailgate is down. It can also be flipped inward to create a contained area at the back of the box when the tailgate is up. Best of all, it conveniently stows neatly into the sides of the cargo box when not in use, so it's with you when you need it and out of the way when you don't. This practical innovation is also strong, durable and corrosion-resistant.
*Properly secure all cargo.

CARGO MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The Cargo Management System is available on Styleside box trucks with a 6.5-ft. box. It handles as much as 600 lbs. per tie-down cleat (two cleats per rail maximum) on its dual-rail system. For greater flexibility, step up to the factory-installed Cargo Management Accessories Package, which includes a bed divider, front header bar and two load bars. Two storage bins are also available as a dealer-installed accessory.

STRONGEST FRAME
The frame is the backbone of a truck. To that end, The 2010 F-150 took what was already the strongest frame in its class* and made it even better. The 2010 F-150 frame has greater utilization of high-strength steel to make it stronger, lighter and 10 percent stiffer to give you increased capability with enhanced fuel economy. The fully boxed high-strength steel frame features through-welded crossmembers and provides excellent static torsional and bending stiffness, and less overall frame deflection. The front frame rails themselves are constructed using hydroforming technology, which produces precise frame wall thickness without the inherent stresses and dimensional variations of stamping or welding.
*Class is full-size pickups under 8,500 lbs. GVWR.

6" LONGER LEAF SPRINGS
The rear leaf springs on The 2010 F-150 are six inches longer than previous models. They're also attached further forward on the frame. These adjustments provide better lateral stability and refined steering characteristics. The 2010 F-150 leaf springs remain three inches wide, the widest in the segment,* to provide excellent cornering control when turning, especially under heavy loads.
*Class is full-size pickups under 8,500 lbs. GVWR.

POWERFUL AND EFFICIENT
The 2010 F-150 features a three-engine lineup that provides excellent power and fuel economy. The robust 5.4L 3-valve SOHC V8 is E85 Flex-Fuel-capable and features Variable Cam Timing (VCT) for enhanced efficiency when hauling heavy loads. The new 4.6L 3-valve SOHC V8 delivers unsurpassed fuel economy at 21 mpg** and uses Charge Motion Control Valves to increase performance while reducing emissions. The 4.6L 2-valve V8 features increased horsepower and torque with the same fuel economy as the base engine it replaces. In fact, across the engine lineup, the New 2010 F-150 provides greater horsepower and torque while delivering improved fuel economy.
**EPA-estimated 15 city/21 highway mpg, SuperCrew 2WD with SFE package.

TRANSMISSION OF POWER
A new 6-speed automatic transmission with Tow/Haul Mode comes standard with the 4.6L 3-valve SOHC V8 engine and the 5.4L 3-valve SOHC V8 engine. This electronically controlled close-ratio transmission helps optimize power delivery for improved fuel economy. A selectable Tow/Haul Mode improves performance when towing or hauling heavy loads by compensating for altitude, grade and load, and reducing gear hunting, improving power delivery, and using engine braking to help slow the truck when descending hills.

OUTBOARD-MOUNTED REAR SHOCKS
The 2010 F-150 features outboard-mounted rear shock absorbers. Positioning the rear shocks outside the frame rails reduces body lean and helps control axle motion on washboard road surfaces.

ANTI-LOCK BRAKES WITH ELECTRONIC BRAKEFORCE DISTRIBTION
Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), used by the standard 4-Wheel Vented-Disc Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS), manages the rear brakes to help ensure maximum capability under heavy loads. It's proven technology that provides peace of mind behind the wheel when you need it most.

ELECTRONIC LOCKING DIFFERENTIAL
The 2010 F-150 FX4 features a new standard Electronic Locking Rear Differential that, when engaged, locks the axle completely to provide maximum traction at both wheels at the same time. Electronic Locking Rear Differential is fully integrated with the AdvanceTrac® system with segment-exclusive*Roll Stability Control™ (RSC®)** to give you ultimate control when traveling on- or off-road.
*Class is full-size pickups under 8,500 lbs. GVWR.
**Remember, even advanced technology cannot overcome the laws of physics. It's always possible to lose control of a vehicle due to inappropriate driver input for the conditions.

6" LONGER SUPERCREW
Now six inches longer, The 2010 F-150 SuperCrew offers more rear-seat compartment room, visibility, flexibility and cargo space than ever before. There's six more inches of space behind the front seats for improved legroom and cargo capacity. The B-pillar is further back for greater visibility. And the rear seat folds up with one hand to offer a fully flat load floor for cargo flexibility and ease of handling. In total, there's now more than 57 cu. ft. of usable storage in the rear seat without sacrificing cargo box length or size.

FULLY FLAT LOAD FLOOR
No buttons to push or levers to pull. Simply use one hand to fold up the mechanically articulating rear seats against the back of the cab to easily access a completely flat load floor that features more than 57 cu. ft. of usable storage space. The seat back folds up and out of the way and the doors swing wide open to allow easy access to this abundant amount of space.

QUIETEST F-150 EVER
The environment inside The 2010 F-150 is peaceful and quiet thanks to Ford's 720-degree approach to noise reduction through sound engineering. Stiffer frame and body, shear-style body mounts, door seals, Quiet Steel* and a new noise-absorbing headliner all work together to reduce unwanted noise and vibration and make the 2010 F-150 the quietest F-150 ever.
*Quiet Steel is a trademark of Material Sciences Corporation.

IN-CAB STORAGE
There's no doubt The 2010 F-150 can carry a large amount of cargo in its cargo box; nor should there be any question it provides numerous places for carrying items inside the cab. The SuperCrew interior features more than 30 storage places throughout, with large storage bins inside new door panels. There's also an available lockable center console, equipped with rails for hanging files, that easily holds up to two laptop computers. And if your choice is a SuperCab or a SuperCrew, you can easily fold up the 60/40 split rear seat to carry a large load of cargo (up to 47.9 inches tall) on the fully flat load floor.
